- Rinse cranberries and remove any bad ones. Peel and dice apples into small chunks.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and ginger. Stir occasionally until bubbling.
- Simmer for 20-25 minutes until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly to thicken further.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Top each crostini with the chutney before serving.
