  • 1 cup mayonnaise Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup celery, diced For crunch.
  • 1/2 cup red grapes, halved Optional for sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard For tanginess.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed.
Sandwich Assembly
  • 8 slices bread Whole grain or your choice.
  • 4 leaves lettuce For freshness.

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken Salad
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, celery, grapes, red onion, dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface.
