- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan as per package instructions for the cake mix. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Beat until smooth and pour into the prepared pan. Bake according to package directions until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl. Mix in peanut butter until fully combined.
- Roll the mixture into balls about one inch in diameter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the chocolate wafers according to package instructions. Dip each ball into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing back on parchment paper. Add sprinkles if desired.
- Store finished cake pops in an airtight container once they cool completely.
