Ingredients
  

  • 1 French baguette sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 8 oz brie cheese sliced
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries or frozen
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 zest of 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts for garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toast for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugar, and orange zest. Stir until cranberries pop and mixture thickens (about 10 minutes).
  4. Top each toasted baguette slice with brie cheese followed by a spoonful of cranberry chutney.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle chopped walnuts over crostini before serving.
