Preparation
- Press the tofu between two plates with weight on top for 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the pressed tofu into nugget-sized pieces and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes.
- Coat each piece in a mixture of panko breadcrumbs and toasted sesame seeds.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and arrange the coated tofu on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, mix honey (or maple syrup) with rice vinegar to create your dipping sauce.
- Serve the crispy nuggets hot with the dipping sauce.
