  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Plain, unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 3 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Optional for extra flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Marinate the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours for maximum flavor.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Preheat your grill or oven as desired. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
  2. Cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), about 6-8 minutes per side on the grill or 20-25 minutes in the oven.
