Ingredients

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts skinless
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup honey preferably raw
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later.
  2. Cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  3. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Serve
  1. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
