Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 4 slices Ciabatta bread or any Italian bread
Meats
  • 4 oz Salami
  • 4 oz Capicola
  • 4 oz Mortadella
Cheese
  • 4 oz Provolone cheese
  • 2 oz Parmesan cheese shaved
Vegetables
  • 1 cup Arugula or spinach
  • 1 medium Tomato sliced
  • 1/4 cup Roasted red peppers sliced
Condiments
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Method
 

Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Slice the ciabatta bread in half horizontally.
  2. Layer the salami, capicola, and mortadella on the bottom half of the bread.
  3. Add the provolone cheese and shaved parmesan on top of the meats.
  4. Top with arugula, sliced tomato, and roasted red peppers.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and spread Dijon mustard on the top half of the bread.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Close the sandwich and press down gently. Cut into halves or quarters for serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can toast the sandwich in a pan or sandwich press until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
