Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage leaves chopped
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, cream cheese, chopped sage, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly over the pastry and roll tightly into a log.
  5. Slice into one-inch pinwheels and place on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
