  • 8 large eggs fresh
Dairy
  • 1/4 cup milk optional for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons butter for cooking
Seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk them until well combined.
  2. Add milk, salt, and pepper to the eggs and whisk until smooth.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and add butter.
  2. Once the butter is melted and foamy, pour in the egg mixture.
  3. Allow the eggs to sit for a few moments until they start to set around the edges.
  4. Gently stir with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges to the center.
  5. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are softly set but still slightly runny.
  6. Remove from heat and let carryover cooking finish the eggs.
