Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder until combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs until frothy; mix in milk and melted butter. Gradually add to dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While the cake cools, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Invert the cooled cake onto a powdered sugar-dusted towel, peel off parchment, spread whipped cream over it, then roll tightly using the towel as support.
  7. Slice and serve with extra whipped cream or fresh fruit on top.
