Ingredients
  

Taco Shell Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup water adjust as needed

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add the vegetable oil and water, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
Shape the Taco Shells
  1. Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  2. Roll each ball out into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
  3. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter if desired.
Bake the Taco Shells
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
