Method
 

  1. Form ground beef into four 6-ounce patties, making an indent in the center of each.
  2. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

  4. During the last two minutes of cooking, add cheese on top of each patty and cover to melt.
  5. While patties are cooking, toast brioche buns until golden brown.
